There is a famous saying that goes that if whatever happens, is to your liking, its great. If whatever happens is not to your liking, its even better. Because then, God's will is included in it. We have all planned out our lives to the last detail. All is going hunky dory, until reality smacks you in the face. Things stop going your way, and there is no way to control anything anymore. Its like sand slipping out of your fist even though you are holding on to it so tight. There is disappointment, despair, anger, denial, depths of negativity, hopelessness, fear. What DID we do wrong to earn this karma? Are we are fault? Did we not see this coming? The mind races back and forth, trying to find a method to the madness. Desperately trying to achieve some sense of closure. And in the end, the entire exercise seems so futile. In powerlessness, we discover the Higher Power. In destitute we realize that there is someone up there who has always wanted the best for us and continues to give us the best there can be. He does not leave us much of an option does He.
Now why did he want us to go through all the trauma to begin with? Its not very easy understanding his ways. But the way He teaches is very effective. The lessons learnt are lessons for life. Did we decide it all before hand and wanted it played out like this? Just what were we thinking!
You come to a point where you totally surrender to Him. Trusting that he knows best. And even if it does not look great, there is something very nice waiting for us at the end of the road. There was and there will always be light at the end of the tunnel. The clouds will have a silver lining. The wait to get there teaches us patience. Negativity has no depth. Being positive takes all the strength you got. But then whats life without a royal challenge!
Trust. Someone breaks our trust and then we learn that its in our best interest to Trust Him. What an irony. A very interesting life we have. No day will ever come back. The second gone by won't. Why waste it being negative, when you can distract yourself towards positivity and make it your way of life.
So very preachy. Tch. Some people never change. I am one of them.
Yours Truly,
Stillness
