Clouds give way to some Sunshine

The rains finally gave way to some sunny weather in my life. The respite brings great relief. It was long awaited. Someone up there understood that there was little I could do except pray hard. He seems to have answered my prayers once again. Even if this is momentary, I revel in the few hours He has granted me. Your relentless love and support has once again seen me through. The past few posts have been heart wrenchingly sad. I wish I could bring to you happier stuff. I am thankful nevertheless for your patience.

Life is so tempestuous at times. You just don't know what to expect next. It's a journey with unexpected milestones. You decide on going somewhere and chose your path. At times the destination resembles the picture in your head and at times it doesn't. You keep moving with the faith that wherever He leads you, will be for your good. It'll be a place that you long desired to be in, or even better than that.

His plan is always better than ours. The gratitude I feel today makes my eyes moist. I have longed for this sense of peace for long. I wish this bubble never bursts. Even if it does, I wish I have enough strength to see it through. They say that He never puts you into something He knows you can't deal with. Maybe he does, but makes sure He gives you the know how and strength to sail through. When He feels it's getting too much to handle, He does step in and take you through.

Wish everyone's life came with a manual. A specific page you could refer to while in trouble. Since it doesn't, you have an option to call a toll free number for help. Which comes in form of friends and well wishes. Which comes in form of strength you never thought you had.

Wish the weekends were 3 day long! Disconnection is so important for your sense of well being. One of life's biggest challenges is staying positive. Turning sad and losing hope comes so naturally to me. I must start Yoga and join something like an Art of Living course. I often feel like running away to  a place where I can meditate all day and see the entire day and all of it's gifts pass by me.

Since that might not be immediately viable, I guess sleep and a spa treatment should do just fine!

The best six doctors anywhere And no one can deny it  are

sunshine, water, rest, air, Exercise and diet. These six will gladly you attend
If only you are willing
Your mind they'll ease
Your will they'll mend
And charge you not a shilling.

Remembering the following helps me through rough times, Stillness.

Try to be cheerful, forgiving and smile often. Have an active mind and keep learning: computer, crafts, gardening, etc. Surround yourself with what you love: family, plants, hobbies. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity. Cherish your health, enjoy the simple things, be in the moment, laugh often, when the tears do happen: endure, grieve, and move on. Be kind to yourself, the only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

Like Di I cannot add to what dear Wanda has said. No one ever said life would be easy and why some have it easier than others I don't know but it is what it is. We have no control over what mostly happens in our life but we have full control of how we react to any issue. I promiised myself that no matter what happens in my life I will always focus on the positive, this makes me happy in a very unhappy world. Wish I were closer to give you a big hug.....:-)

WANDA: Thank you so very much for sharing such profound thoughts with me. I will always remember them and abide by them as much as I can going forward! Loads of love to you :-)

DIANA: I am speechless too!

BERNIE: I guess some people have it tougher than others, because they've a lot to learn from this life than their counterparts. I feel that if you don't learn your lesson, the incident will keep reappearing in different forms.

I will try and focus on the positive too going forward. Thanks Bernie! Love you loads!

Please take my blog title as comfort, it is based on a line, "Every cloud has a silver lining". May it be so for you too.

Tranquility,

I feel relieved that light at the end of tunnel is now visible. Long ago I read somewhere that one does not have to renounce world to attain ultimate bliss but one who does follows God's wishes while attending to all worldly chores is the one who is blessed by God. Faith can be kept in mind all the time. However one should never give up efforts. How I wish you had had little trust in me to share what was causing such an anguish! Anyway choice is entirely yours. Wish you all the best and bright & sunny days ahead.

Take care

EDDIE: Thank you so much for being there Eddie and thank you for following a rather boring blog. I am deeply humbled!

REFLECTIONS: Thank you! Bookmarked your new site and I shall definitely visit.

JACK: Holding onto faith takes some doing at times. But it is always worth it. There are a few battles we have to fight alone. While I do appreciate your concerns, I am sure I will manage on my own.
